Sustainable innovation protects our resources Why is circularity important? In addition to preserving our natural resources by reducing raw material production and energy use, we prevent negative environmental effects by taking care of residual materials and waste. Regenerated (recycled) fiber and yarn production help reduce the use of garbage incineration and landfill waste disposal.
How does textile recycling work? The process of transforming textile fibers into recycled materials starts with collecting textile waste and surplus from the textile industry and garment production. The collected textile scraps are separated according to content, type and color before going through the careful process of being transformed into recycled fiber. Polyester and acrylic are mixed into the completed recycled fiber blend before the production of yarn. Since the raw material has already been coordinated by color, there is no need for dyeing the product. The recycled yarns, which come in a wide range of colors, can then be used to produce various sorts of high quality textile fabric.

Transparency is your guarantee To achieve complete transparency and traceability, the recycling process is certified by the Global Recycle Standard (GRS). The yarn quality is also audited with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 throughout the production line, making sure it is free from harmful substances and that it is completely safe in human ecological terms.
Since the recycling process does not require dyeing, it reduces water consumption and pollution. To give you some insight, conventional cotton production requires 11 thousand liters of water to obtain 1 kg of cotton and 130 liters are needed to dye 1 kg of yarn. Through recycling, 237 million liters of water is saved – daily.
